ABOUT THE TRAINERS

Benita Pretorius-Bezuidenhout has more than 30 years’ experience with-in the hospitality, travel and tourism industry; from operations and sales to training. On-job-training in the industry and also as a lecturer and principal at a renowned hotel school. She is a customer service excellence-, hospitality consultation - and training expert and has been training hospitality staff in these subjects for 15 years.

Benita is an accredited Assessor, Skills Development Facilitator, Moderator and is qualified in the Designing of Assessment Tools. She holds a Wine Diploma through the Cape Wine Academy and also completed various management programmes.

She has experience in tendering processes, planning and facilitation of Skills Development Programmes for government departments.

She guides guests in an entertaining and insightful manner through the wonderful world of food and wine pairing. Attending any of these programmes is an expedition through the delights of the right and not so right wine and food combinations. Not only the basics, but also partnering food prepared in specific methods with the complementing wines.

She consults and trains service people in the art of entertaining, table preparation and cooking techniques,
